[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]ACS-UK is currently involved in the above project working in private rented sector (PRS) to support long term and repeat rough sleepers, to ensure they do not return to rough sleeping and are made offers of accommodation suitable to their needs.
Through this project, ACS-UK is working with a number of partners to reduce the number of people accommodated in hotels and other emergency accommodation and to minimise the numbers sleeping rough through the following joint activities:
- Procuring interim accommodation for those sleeping rough and those in emergency accommodations.
- Support with applying for housing benefit for accommodation placements.
- Referrals are made for those who need specialist support e.g. medical, drink and drug addiction and counselling support etc.
- Continuous support to ensure those supported do not return to rough sleeping and are made offers of accommodation suitable to their needs.
